Caught In The Act!!

This week Cody and I hatched the perfect (or so we thought) plan to get Keri and Natalie. This is the week that Cody's team and Keri's team play each other so our families declared war on each other earlier in the week. Natalie thought she got us good this morning by sending us a picture of Rylan where she had digitally put a shirt on him that said "Recovering Lion Fan". Little did she know what was coming tonight!! Cody and I had planned to go to their house and shoe polish Keri's Tahoe and put all kinds of Lion pictures everywhere on the Tahoe. We thought the plan would would great since they live in a house with a back alley and garage. We knew Keri didn't park in the garage so basically all we had to do was make sure Keri was home before we drove over to Rockwall. Once we were sure that Keri was home our plan went into action. We parked just outside the alley and I ran to their driveway to paint Keri's windows while Cody stayed in the car with Rylan and started taping all the other signs. We were just about done when I was making my last run to their driveway to put the last 2 signs on Keri's car when I saw the entire Timmerman family standing in the driveway looking at the Tahoe. We were caught in the act!! We all had a good laugh and I got some good pictures. Since we were caught we went inside their house and the kids all played for a while. Regardless of who wins the football game, I think it's safe to say that the Salyers family won War Week!

We love the Timmerman family and are so blessed to have such incredible friends!

Rylan, your parents are too much!! Once upon a time when your great grandma and great grandpa were very, very young, 20's, we teepeed our best friends home late at nite. Just as we were about finished, we heard a noise and took off jumping fences as we ran home, 4 houses away. Grandpa made the mistake of running into a clothes line which flattened him on his back.

He was so worried about his esophagist, he went to the doctor who knew us and our friends. The doc assured him he would be alright and the doc had a good laugh, too.
