Pool Party At Rylan's House

Well, Cody officially starts football meetings bright and early tomorrow morning so we needed to have one good cookout with the Timmermans before all the football madness begins for Cody and Keri. After we ate dinner Cody filled up the pools and the 3 kids had a blast in the water. We love having such good friends close by and it seems like our kids are basically growing up like siblings. After the swim party we put the kids to bed and the 4 adults had some fun playing the Wii. Natalie and I played a mean game of tennis (sorry for the punch to the back Nat) and Cody and Keri enjoyed their Tiger Woods golf game. However, now it's football time and we won't see the Timmermans quite as much with the hectic schedules, but there will be a good Friday night showdown later in the season when Cody and Keri's high schools match up for a football game...Go Lions!!

Rylan's best buddy Doak.

Rylan had so much fun at his pool party tonight!

He's making a run for the pool.

The two dads working hard on the swing...I'm sure there was some sort of football talk going on when I took this picture.

I love the grass on the nose!

Man Ashley you are fast! We had a great time tonight with you all. I love that our kids are so comfortable at your house that they can go to sleep there so the grown ups can hang out. And I'd just like to state for the record that Addie, Rylan, and Doak are all wearing the same size swim diaper at age 3, 15 months, and 7 months! And the reason Addie is wearing one is that we didn't bring her suit because it was stormy at our house but when we got to the Salyer's it had cleared up. 9/26/08 remember that date because it is the day that the Lions are going down! We'll go ahead and send Cody a Hawks shirt that he can wear on the Monday after we stomp you all! :)

Oh Natalie, the war has begun! Tell Keri to be expecting his Greenville Lions balloon bouquet at school on Sept. 26th. :-)

Two good friends are worth more than 50 'acquaintances' that some people call friends.

Treasure them forever.
