Can You Say Slacker?!

I can't believe I let almost 3 weeks go by without posting!! I'll do my best to catch you up on everyone. CODY - he started baseball season at the end of January and has been SUPER busy ever since. His team had their first scrimmage Friday night and did pretty good. He continues to work late hours and still come home and do bath time. He's the best husband and daddy ever! RYLAN - he still enjoys going to his school every morning. Mrs. Michelle (his teacher) knows how much he loves bananas so she usually has one waiting for him when we walk through the doors each day. When I pick him up in the afternoons he is ALWAYS having a great time playing with the other kids. He is also enjoying baseball season. He thinks he's pretty big when he gets to run on the field. ASHLEY - I am almost through my first trimester. I have actually had a little bit of nausea in the past 2 weeks so I'm hoping it goes away soon. We go in for an Ultra Screen on the 24th and they may be able to give us a pretty good guess as to the sex of the baby. We truly don't care what the sex of the baby is as long as we get confirmation that the baby is healthy and thriving.

I apologize for being such a slacker lately with the blog. Below are some random pictures from our life over the past 2-3 weeks. Enjoy!!

Someone thinks he's such a big boy with his pad and paper. Little did I realize when I took this picture that he had already marked on the leather couch with the pen. Oh well...that's life with a little boy!

Yes, that is Rylan looking in the litter box...while Boston is using it. I know, I know...it's nasty, but I still had to get a picture. Rylan is obsessed with all things "potty" these days. Apparently, this also goes for the cat's potty.

The kid loves books!! Unfortunately for us...it's usually the same 3 books that we read over and over again. I think Cody and I could recite "Go Dog Go" in our sleep!

My mom (RoRo) sent Rylan a Valentine's Day card with a $10 bill in it. Rylan spent about 20-30 minutes putting the money in his pocket and taking it back out again.

This is Cody putting together Mickey Mouse Valentine cards for Rylan to give to his class. I personally thought it was a little crazy that 18-24 month olds were exchanging cards, but I'm sure they had a good time passing them out to each other.

Rylan all ready for his Valentine's Day PJ Party at school...Valentine cards in hand and ready to go!

I signed up to make ham/turkey/cheese sandwiches for his class party. I couldn't just make plain sandwiches though! So, I cut them out in the shape of lips...but I reminded Rylan that he shouldn't kiss little girls...until he's 30!!
