It's Baseball Time!!

Cody started baseball practice Friday so it is only a matter of a week or so before Rylan is rooting for daddy and his baseball boys. I took Rylan to the field Saturday during their practice and he watched his daddy for the longest time. I'm sure he will have a great time at games this year. I have ordered him 2 baseball t-shirts for this year. They both have the Raglan baseball sleeves. One says "Daddy's Assistant Coach" and the other one says "Take Me Out To The Ballgame"...and I'm positive he will be the cutest baby in both of them!

I have finally found a spare minute to update our blog. Since our Christmas break ended we have just been getting back into our routine. Rylan is doing great. He has started clapping for himself and he loves to give daddy high 5's. He laughs hysterically at his puppy and kitty and he is truly the light of our life. Even when I am having a rough day I still feel so incredibly blessed because at the end of the day I get to tuck in the most precious baby God has ever created...and he's all mine!!

Cody and I have had so much fun during our break hanging out together and spending so much time with our little boy. Too bad we can't get paid to stay home and play with Rylan all day!!

I got a new camera for Christmas so I have been busy taking pictures. Here are several from the past 2 weeks....

He was fascinated by the basket of magazines. He eventually figured out how to crawl up on top of the basket.

Rylan loved getting to sit up in the tub for the first time. We definitely have a water baby! If Rylan is ever fussy (which isn't very often) a bath can always make him happy. Thanks for letting us borrow the bath ring Uncle Randy and Aunt Jen!

I had put Rylan in the crib with the CD player toy while I finished getting ready in the morning. I heard him in the room just talking to himself for the longest time. I was so impressed that my baby was entertaining himself with his toy, but when I went back into his room to check on him I quickly realized what had been entertaining him for so long...I had left the box of wipes in the crib! As you can see by the picture Rylan figured our how to open the wipes box and was having a great time "cleaning up."

Our second bathroom had been done in navy, but I wanted to make it into "Rylan's bathroom" so when I saw this monkey shower curtain in Kohl's I fell in love with it and decided it was perfect for a little boy's bathroom decor.
